Case Study 2: Part 4 - Management plan

The fourth part of the consultation is developing the management plan. Podiatrists negotiate with their patients a management plan that will suit the patient's needs. This is known as 'developing' the management plan.

The management plan has two parts:

  1. a short term treatment plan, and a
  2. long term treatment plan

Your plan is recorded in the Treatment section in the podiatric medical record.
