Case Study 2: Management plan
Developing the management plan
After writing your short and long term treatment plan for this patient- you can compare your notes to those made by the staff by accessing the completed page 3 of the podiatric medical record.
Once the management plan has been approved by the patient and the supervising staff then the plan can be implemented.
Implementing the management plan.
The plan may change during treatment, for example it might be decided to use a padding technique after debriding a callous. This would be added to the medical record so that all aspects of the treatment delivered at the visit are captured in the plan.
The plan notes would also include details of the instrument sterilisation records.
